Architecture and Interior Design > Residential - Manhattan meets Desert Mountain |
A second home for a couple who appreciates the atelier life of Manhattan with the peace and serenity of the desert. 6500 sq. ft of sculptural, light articulated gallery space provided the clean crisp palette for this home. Terrazzo tiled floors, glass and stainless steel paired with standing seam black zinc architectural details creates a comfortable minimalism. A custom granite and stainless dining table sits on a Hokason area rug. The cantilevered buffet has insets of woven metal in the Wenge doors while the granite top floats on stainless steel pegs. The master bath is an invitation to a total spa experience coupled with
a museum style display of the owners collection of antique Lalique perfume
